Two ways to work with us

Build with us, or let us represent you.

For kitchens, bathrooms, stairs, and whole-home remodels, PACM is your general contractor: one team, one contract, one point of accountability. For larger or more complex projects with your own architect and builder, our owner's representation and project management service puts an experienced professional on your side of the table.

Which service is right for you

Three questions that usually settle it.

Do you already have an architect and a builder, or want to choose your own?

Then owner's representation is the fit. We work for you, review the team's contracts, budgets, and pay applications, and visit the site every week so nothing drifts.

Is the project a kitchen, bathroom, addition, or whole-home remodel?

Then hire us as your general contractor. One team, one written contract with milestones, and one person accountable for the schedule and the result.

Are you deciding what to do with a lot, or whether to build at all?

Start with a conversation. We have taken a Palo Alto lot through an SB 9 split and a new build ourselves, and we will tell you plainly which path makes sense before you spend on design.

Where we work

Palo Alto first, and the neighborhoods around it.

Our office is on San Antonio Road in Midtown Palo Alto, and most of our work is within a few miles of it: Old Palo Alto, Crescent Park, Professorville, Community Center, Midtown, Barron Park, and College Terrace. We also take projects in Menlo Park, Atherton, Los Altos, Mountain View, Portola Valley, and Woodside. Staying local matters on a remodel. We know the Palo Alto Development Center, the Individual Review process for second stories, the Eichler guidelines, and City of Palo Alto Utilities, and we can be on your site in minutes when a decision cannot wait.

Craftsmanship

A background in custom cabinetry shows up in every joint, sight line, and finish. We build things the right way, once.

Transparency

A written contract, a clear payment schedule, defined milestones, and a reputation for finishing on time and on budget.

Performance

Acoustics, air quality, daylight, and energy use are part of the design, not an afterthought. A calmer, healthier home.

Sustainability

Regenerative materials, low-toxin finishes, and high-performance appliances and systems wherever they make sense.
