When to involve us

Help at each stage of your project

Planning a remodel or new home

We help you define the scope, establish a budget, and select an architect and builder. Early review can identify costs and scheduling constraints before you commit to a design.

Facing unexpected bills or delays

We review the original scope, change orders, payments, and remaining work. We help you challenge unsupported charges, assess proposed changes, and compare options for completing the project, including alternative contractors when appropriate.

Considering a lot split or new development

We help you examine feasibility, project sequencing, and construction requirements. Our own Palo Alto SB 9 development provides practical experience with the decisions involved.

Transparency

Written scopes, documented decisions, and regular reporting help you understand costs and follow progress.

Performance

We consider acoustics, ventilation, daylight, and energy use alongside the layout and finishes.

Sustainability

We consider material durability, low-toxin finishes, and the energy requirements of appliances and building systems.
